Meet the Instructor: Skyler Williams

Skyler Williams has 10 years of experience in mental health, substance abuse, education, child development and suicide intervention. A trained facilitator of mental health first and (MHFA), applied suicide intervention skills training (ASIST), and counseling on access to lethal means (CALM), Skyler has taught over 30 classes to more than 300 participants, including school staff, first responders and community groups. Now in her first year as a school psychologist, Skyler is passionate about equipping schools and communities with tools to support mental well being and foster positive change for students, teachers and families.

Who is this course for?

This course is intended for School Psychologists, Counselors, Social Workers, Administrators, Teachers, Educational Diagnosticians, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other educational professionals responsible for student safety and support. Participants will be eligible to receive 3 continuing professional development credits. AIM is approved by the National Association of School Psychologists to offer professional development for school psychologists. AIM maintains responsibility for the program.
